Good quote. So, let’s not call the destruction of nature progress! I call electricity, electricity instead of power. It’s not catching on, but I do it anyway, because we still have power even when the lights go out. The destruction of nature is vandalism of God’s work.

Yes, we definitely always have power, as does nature. Many people only notice the power of nature when it is extreme, like a hurricane or tornado. When I was growing up, my dad worked in hydroelectricity, so I was used to thinking of water as power, even when it wasn’t rushing or overflowing.
