This post is going to be very short, because I just spent a bunch of time writing a post about the Sappho’s Circle poetry reading last night.
I guess the other thing I should mention is that I had to adjust the mike last night because I am so short…

This short and sweet post was written in response to Linda’s prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday this week, which was “short.” Join us! Find out how here: https://lindaghill.com/2017/03/10/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-mar-1117/
My mom was short. She used to say, “Good things come in small packages.”

It’s true – or at least it can be! I don’t mind being short, except when I can’t reach things on store shelves or have to deal with furniture, cars, or clothes that are designed for taller people and don’t adjust adequately.

Thanks for that perspective. I will keep that more in mind when I see someone reaching.

I’ve wondered how stores manage these things, especially when there are customers who use motorized carts whose reach is even smaller than petite people.
