B and I baked an election day pie early this morning with an important message: VOTE! We did early voting last week and will be watching television coverage as the returns begin to come in this evening, by which time our tummies will be full of our fruits-of-the-forest pie. Today’s rendition is made with apples, raspberries, blueberries, and rhubarb.
Looks scrumptious! The whole world will be watching with you . . .

I’m so hoping for a good result for the US and our many friends around the world. My daughter in the UK is trying to adjust to hearing US election coverage from a different perspective. I admit it’s hard for me to grasp how important the US election is to people in other countries; the US has such an out-sized influence.

Yumm – voted by mail – got the text saying it had be received and will be counted.

Yay! It’s nice that you have such good tracking capabilities for your ballot. Our in-person early votes will be part of the tally in our county this evening. I’m wondering what the election day lines at polling places are like here. I’m hoping they are reasonable because the weather is chilly, damp, and windy.

Stay warm – I wouldn’t want to be standing out in that kind of weather for long, much rather be at your house eating scrumptious “Vote” pie!!

I’m glad that we voted early last week! It was a grey day then, too, but not as windy as today has been.

That looks delicious! I am going to vote this afternoon – very curious about how it will go.

Good luck with your vote plan! With turnout so high with early votes, it’s impossible to predict what the traditional day-of polling places will be like.

Thanks. I had no wait in the afternoon – the line moved steadily, no problem at all. My husband, who went late morning, waited about 45 minutes. Everybody was behaving themselves. Phew.

Thank you. Now we wait to see if it goes our way. It’s crazy making. 2000 all over again?

I think it’s going to be okay. None of the legal challenges from the Trump campaign seem viable. It seems that there should be enough electoral college votes for Biden decided by the end of the week. Of course, it takes time for the states to certify and the electoral college won’t meet until Dec., but things look good for Biden/Harris.

Oh I hope you’re right. I’ve been checking it all day. Hopefully by the weekend we’ll know.
